Be careful with this software!!! Either the developers are crooks, or they are respectable people who are completely incompetent programmers. The software was very good up through version 3.4. But this version didn't run under El Capitan, and it took them 6 months to come out with 3.5. Now if you try to import the 3.4 database into 3.5, a great deal of information gets garbled or lost. It's basically useless. It's obvious from the comments on their Facebook page that their customers all feel jilted, and it's also obvious that they don't care, because they are completely unresponsive to attempts at contact. They turned good software into useless junk, have alienated their customers, and apparently they couldn't give a sh_t. Hands off!!

After a lot of research, I decided that this was the Gold Standard for software of its type; so bought it at the discount price on the MAS. I was not wrong: feature after feature, sophisticated functionality after sophisticated functionality kept on coming! Only minor drawbacks: the documentation is great at describing how to make each part of the software work; but doesn't actually explain why. It did crash once when trying to edit (crop) a label image. But it really does do everything most wine enthusiasts want. Web integration is getting better with each release. This is the app to get for this purpose.

Wow. Overwhelming. Great (I think!), but overwhelming. I am a person with a great interest and moderate experience in wine, looking for an app that might educate me a bit, help me catalogue a few bottles, and maybe connect with others having similar taste. This app is more of a straight-up cataloguing app for somebody with a cellar of like 500 bottles. It seems to have a million features, including food pairings. For the most part, these features are not intuitively easy to use. In short, if you are hard core, you'll love this app. If you are a bit of a dilettante or you have fewer than 50 bottles in your cellar, then this is probably more than you need.
